How to download your Anthropic (Claude) invoice
Anthropic has two separate billing systems people constantly mix up: the API (console.anthropic.com) and the Claude subscription (claude.ai / Claude Pro, Max or Team). Each issues its own documents, and the API can generate several invoices per month.

Decide which invoice you're after
If you pay for API usage (credits), go to the Anthropic console. If you pay a Claude subscription, billing lives in claude.ai's settings.

API: open the console's billing
At console.anthropic.com → Settings → Billing you'll find the history of credit purchases and charges. Each credit purchase (manual or auto-reload) generates its own invoice.

Download each PDF
From the history you can open each charge's invoice (hosted on Stripe) with invoice and receipt download options.

Claude Pro/Max/Team: claude.ai settings
At claude.ai → Settings → Billing, the manage-subscription option opens the Stripe portal with the subscription's monthly invoices.
Tips & edge cases
- With auto-reload enabled on the API you can end up with 3, 5 or 10 invoices in a month — collect them all, not just the latest.
- Add your company's VAT ID in the console's billing details so it appears on invoices.
- API invoices are issued by Anthropic via Stripe; search your inbox for “Anthropic” if you need a quick copy.

Why do I have several Anthropic invoices in one month?
Because each API credit purchase or auto-reload generates its own invoice. A heavy-usage month can produce several.
Is my Claude Pro invoice valid for my company?
Yes, if you add your tax details in the subscription's Stripe portal. For professional use, consider Claude Team, which bills the organization.
Can someone collect all these invoices for me?
