How to download your Microsoft 365 invoice
Microsoft 365 has two separate billing paths depending on account type: personal/family (account.microsoft.com) and business managed by an admin (admin.microsoft.com).
Open the billing portal ↗Step by step
- 1
Personal or Family: open your Microsoft account
Go to account.microsoft.com/billing/orders (direct link above) with the account that pays the subscription.
- 2
Business: open the admin center
If your organization manages Microsoft 365, billing lives at admin.microsoft.com → Billing → Invoices, visible only to admins.
- 3
Download the PDF
In both cases, each order or invoice has its own view/download option for the document.
Tips & edge cases
- If you don't see a billing option on your personal account, your subscription is likely managed by your employer or school — ask the admin.
- Automatic annual renewals generate an invoice even if you don't log in that day.
Add it as a custom provider
This provider isn't in Severino's default catalog yet, but you can add it yourself by pasting its billing portal URL as a custom provider — Severino will try to download the invoice just like it does for the rest. If you'd rather wait for us to add it natively, leave your email.
Tell us which one you use and we'll let you know when its guide (and Severino support) is available.
Frequently asked questions
Where's the invoice if my employer pays for Microsoft 365?
In your organization's admin center (admin.microsoft.com), not your personal Microsoft account.
Does Microsoft issue VAT invoices?
Yes, it charges the applicable VAT for your country or applies reverse charge with a valid business VAT ID, depending on the billing entity.
