How to download your Canva invoice

Canva keeps Canva Pro and Canva for Teams receipts in the account's billing settings. Every charge (monthly or annual) generates its own downloadable document.

Open the billing portal

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open billing settings

Go to canva.com/settings/billing with the account that pays the subscription (for teams, the owner or an admin).

  2. 2

    Find the payment history

The billing & plans section lists every charge with its date and amount.

  3. 3

    Download the receipt

Each charge has an option to view or print the receipt; save it as a PDF.

  4. 4

    Add your tax details

If you need company name or VAT ID on the receipt, set them in your billing details before the next charge.

Tips & edge cases

  • In Canva for Teams only the team owner/admin can see billing.
  • If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, the invoice comes from Apple or Google, not Canva.
  • The free plan generates no documents.

Stop downloading invoices by hand

Every month Severino logs into this portal (and your other providers'), downloads the PDFs and sends them to your accountant. You do nothing.

Tell us which one you use and we'll let you know when its guide (and Severino support) is available.

Frequently asked questions

Does Canva issue VAT invoices?

Canva charges applicable VAT for most self-serve customers; check the breakdown on the receipt itself.

Where's my invoice if I pay for Canva on mobile?

If the subscription was bought via the App Store or Google Play, the receipt lives in your Apple or Google account, not in Canva.

Can I automate downloading Canva receipts?

Yes: Severino logs into the Canva portal every month, downloads the receipt and sends it to your accountant.
