How to download your Shopify invoice

Shopify bills per store, and a single invoice can bundle several items: the plan fee, installed apps and transaction fees, depending on how you charge your customers.

Step by step

    Open the store's billing

    From your store admin, go to Settings → Billing.

  2. 2

    Go to the invoice history

    The history section lists every issued invoice, with the breakdown of plan, apps and fees.

    Download the invoice

    Each invoice has a PDF download link with the full breakdown of line items.

Tips & edge cases

  • If you run several Shopify stores, each has its own independent billing.
  • Third-party apps installed on your store are charged through the same Shopify invoice, but you may need their own receipt for your books.

Add it as a custom provider

This provider isn't in Severino's default catalog yet, but you can add it yourself by pasting its billing portal URL as a custom provider — Severino will try to download the invoice just like it does for the rest. If you'd rather wait for us to add it natively, leave your email.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my Shopify invoice change every month?

Because it includes variable items: sales transaction fees, usage-based apps and shipping charges, on top of the fixed plan fee.

Does Shopify issue VAT invoices?

It depends on which Shopify entity bills you based on your location; check the tax breakdown on the document itself.
